To be chosen as a funeral celebrant is a true privilege and I will bring with me a sense of trust, calmness and respect during our times together.
My role is to weave together your loved one’s story and legacy into a beautiful and deeply personalised, bespoke ceremony. Together, we will tailor every element to fit & embrace the wishes of both the deceased and the bereaved, bringing those special memories & sentiments to life.
There are no restrictions with a celebrant-led funeral. Include cultural, religious, spiritual or alternative aspects to the ceremony through the eulogy, readings, poetry and music – anything that will bring comfort to your family & friends and which will inspire them to say, “Wouldn’t he/she have loved that”.
The word “comfort” is so important to me and will be to you too. A good funeral ceremony will bring comfort to the bereaved. My sole aim is to honour you and your loved one with the best farewell possible.
If you are choosing a memorial service either due to being unable to hold the funeral you wished for, or as an anniversary memorial, the process and my commitment to you is the same. Please get in touch via your Funeral Director or contact me directly.

A Living Eulogy
Living eulogies are exactly what they seem: a eulogy that is written, or largely dictated, by you. You choose how your ceremony will be written and what music/songs/poems/prayers or readings you wish to have and by whom. This way – you know EXACTLY what’s being said about you at your funeral.
It is a wonderful way for you to connect with the people closest to you and ensure that they receive the recognition you want them to have.
You write your story your way. This can also take the stress away from family during what can be a really difficult time.
The majority of living eulogies are written by those who are nearing the end of their life or have been given a terminal diagnosis. As sorrowful as it may be, it is such a positive and empowering way for that person to express their love and appreciation for those closest to them, without dwelling on the future.
However, it doesn’t always have to be someone coming to the end of their life. You may feel that the time is right for you to start planning your funeral. Creating your own eulogy (up to present time) leaves you in complete control of what is said when the day does arrive.

... you have choices ...
It can create a communal atmosphere of appreciation as close family or friends reflect on their own experiences with the individual to share their feelings and memories.
Living eulogies can take various forms, including written letters, speeches, or recorded messages.
What Do You Need to Do?
Alongside your family, friends or relatives, we would sit, chat and get the creative juices flowing as we all take an extraordinary journey down memory lane. It will be both a happy and sad occasion, but most importantly the eulogy is specific to you.
After we’ve chatted, I’ll write up your eulogy and, once it has met with your approval, we can organise for a loved one or a solicitor to keep it until the day that it is needed.
You can ask someone in your family or a close friend to read your eulogy during your service.
Alternatively, it would be an absolute honour for me to read it on your behalf.
Fee £275

...Celebration of Life...
As this ceremony takes place on a separate day from the funeral, this incurs an additional charge. Whether it is two weeks or two years following the funeral service, I will do my best to be there to walk beside you on this final part of your journey.
Fee includes:
- meeting with the family to discuss service requirements
- prepare a written service for approval
- arrange any necessary music
- conduct the service on the day
- provide the family with a keepsake copy of the service.
Distances of more than 20 Miles will incur a higher fee, which is always chatted through at the time of booking. Mileage is free for the first 20 miles from TA9 and then charged at 45p per mile.
Fee - £175

Servcies for children
Many celebrants choose not to conduct funeral ceremonies for babies and children. Those who do often offer their services for free. I totally understand if you choose a celebrant who offers this.
I just want you to have the right celebrant guiding you during this difficult time. I am fully trained in this area of celebrancy.
Because I have a special connection with working with bereaved parents, I can assure you that you will be completely looked during this most difficult time x
If your child is aged 16 or under and you are facing financial difficulties, I can refer you to the Child Funeral Charity."
